Frequently Asked Questions

-DO YOU ACCEPT ALL DOGS?
I accept all legal dog breeds, big or small, but they must be well behaved:
NOT suffer from extreme anxiety
NOT show aggressive behaviour
NOT bark excessively
-HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU BOARD?
I am licensed for 6 dogs but I will only take 3-4 at one time so that every guest can receive plenty of attention and care.
-DOES MY DOG NEED TO BE VACCINATED?
All dogs must meet UK vaccination requirements before staying with us.
-CAN YOU ADMINISTER MEDICATION?
Medication can be administered with clear instructions given.
-WHAT FOOD WILL MY DOG EAT?
Bring your dogs usual food and treats for their stay, this prevents upset stomachs from diet changes
-WHERE WILL MY DOG SLEEP?
Your dog will sleep in our downstairs living room, either in the dog beds or on sofas (depending on what they are used to at home)
-WHAT GROOMING WILL THE GUESTS RECEIVE
Daily brushing and use of a dog coconut conditioner spray for softer coats.
-HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
We recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends, school holidays and popular travel periods. You can book up to 3 months before their stay trip, and no later then 3 days before their stay (subject to availability).
-WHAT HAPPENS IF MY DOG DOESN'T SETTLE?
We closely monitor dog's wellbeing and help them relax with music, cuddles, or space. If after their second night of the trial they have still not settled then they may fail their trial.
